Astro-Navy

the Tychobrae astro-navy contains ships of all sizes, but they must all meet the standards layed out by the senate. The fleets of the Tychobrae republic rely mainly on missle barrages not unlike the way ships of old used drednought tatics (however the distances ahve been greatly increased between ships)

Tychborae ships are heavily armoured and designed to absorb horendous ammounts of damage that would cripple ships of other fleet.The tatics employed by the Tychobrae navy have been accused of being "clumsy" and "blunt" but they have stood the test of time and have consitantly defended her systems and won her wars.

The true skill in a Tychobrae Navel officer, is not grand fleet manouvers and tatics but the ability to keep his ship running at peak effiancy, deal with damage quickly and lob as many missles as possible at the enemy.

However. the times are indeed changing and the introduction of ACR's to the fleet arsinel will greatly effect the strategies employed in Space battles to come

Legion

The Tychobrae Legion, is the land force of the tychobrae army and consist mainly of large amounts of heavly armoured infantry and supporting armour. Tychobrae possess some of, if not The most heavily armoured and Armed infantry in known space, equiped with full balistic plating and energy absorbotion systems they have been known to be knocked down by tank rounds of enemy armour, only to get back up get up again and keep marching. This focus on the Armourment of Infantry means they are expensive and never diployed in situations whare there is high risk of total annialation (the tychobrae forces are not big on futile strugges, and would prefure to fall back and regroup and attaack on there own terms) Tychobrae armour provides transport and fire support to there infantry. The overal all battle philosphy in the tychobrae army is form a slow moving line of control of wich nothing can, or shall pass.. nutralizing all threats ahead and setting up defensive fortification along the way so that they can fall back to safe position should the need arise. this form of "rolling death" as it has been nicknamed is also accompanied by Ortilery (orbital artillery from ships) to soften up the enemy before the line of "rolling death" aproaches

However, ACR's will likely massivly effect tychbrae land tatics as well, but until they are fully tested and implemented.. How this will effect is unkown
