The Legion was Formed from a core group of former Imperial 'Fortress' Worlds. Citadel, Redoubt, Stronghold, Fortress and Shield. after the fall of the empire the legion began to form around the defense forces of these worlds. with each world forming one of the legions five major fleets.

1st Fleet: Citadel. the First Fleet contains the highest concentration of Citadel class systems control ships in exsistance with a full 6 commanding each of the 1st fleets battle groups

2nd Fleet: Redoubt. as the fleet from the smallest of  the fortress worlds the 2nd fleet contains only 1 battle group led by the LSS (Legion Star Ship) Vanguard, one of the last remaining Tolen Imperial Dreadnaughts

3rd Fleet: Stronghold. the stronghold fleet is nearly as large as the 1st but it has only 4 Citadel's so its final battle group is led by a light carrier.

4th Fleet: Fortress. the Forth Fleet has only two battle groups led by the Citadel class vessels 'Knight's Hammer' and the 'Guardian' the Knights Hammer is assigned to protect Fortress at all times as Fortress is the legions major Ship yard.

5th Fleet: the 5th fleet is predominantly for defese of the worlds, it has only 2 Citadels but a full 6 battle groups - the units not led by the citadels are commanded by Carriers or heavy missile boats.

Special Forces:

the Elite Special forces of the Legion, the Talons can trace their lineage back to the Tolen Empires feared ' Dragoon ' units. that being said the Talons are deployed in a far different method then the dragoons who were deployed in Mass. the Talons are deployed either in squads of 8 or teams of four on deep recon and 'wet works' missions. the talons are also deployed in support of main line units during False Spear operations.

Equipment wise the Talons have access to every thing the legion produces, and a good deal of equipment 'acquired' by their Quartermasters section (Which has the highest Per capita number of Con artists, confidence men and out right thieves in the legion) as one of the Elite units each Talon is able to customize their weapons and is given access to specialized tech, an example being the rail-Sniper weapon used by Team 2's Communications/Recon Expert Jack "Tracer" Knight. or the Oracle UAV's used by all Talon Teams to supplement their own sensors.
